Resumo:

We prove a conjecture of Lian and Zuckerman, that the natural Gerstenhaber algebra structure present in the cohomology of a vertex algebra may be lifted (modulo some technical conditions) to a strong-homotopy-Gerstenhaber structure on the vertex algebra itself. This is joint work with V Gorbounov and A Tonks.
