Additive functionals of particle systems

Abstract:

Additive functionals are important quantities in the subject of particle systems.
A simple example of these functionals is the mean occupation time of a site.
In this talk I will present a second order Boltzmann-Gibbs principle which is a powerfull tool to obtain scaling limits of additive functionals for general particle systems. I will present the proof of this result and its various applications.
This subject is presented on the paper "Scaling limits of additive functionals of interacting particle systems" which is accepted for publication in "Communications on Pure and Applied Mathematics".
