Abstract

What is the symmetric calculus ? and the quantum calculus ?
We will briefly review the basics of the symmetric calculus and the quantum calculus, so we can introduce the symmetric quantum calculus.
We will present the h-symmetric calculus. Next, we will introduce the calculus of variations in  the q-symmetric calculus and in the Hahn's symmetric calculus.
At last, we will present the symmetric calculus on time scales.
