Open Day of CMAT

The CMAT’s Open Day is a joint organization by the Centre of Mathematics of the University of Minho and the Centre for Mathematics of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. This Open Day is dedicated to the research topics developed by both Units, in the domains of Algebra, Logic and Computation, Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Hypercomplex Analysis, Dynamical Systems, History of Mathematics, Algebraic and Computational Topology, Differential Geometry, General Relativity, Statistics, Applied Probability and Operational Research. The main objective of the CMAT’s Open Day is to bring together UMinho’s and UTAD’s researchers and researchers from Galicia, Spain, to present their scientific activity and discuss recent results on the above referred domains. This initiative also represents an opportunity to develop strategic collaborations at the level of research projects and post-graduate programmes.
