The use of DNA evidence in problems of civil and criminal identification is becoming greater and greater. Being necessary to evaluate the weight of that evidence one of the most powerful tools to help in it is the Bayesian networks. This is exemplified with the presentation of a civil identification problem and of a criminal identification problem in this work.
