The group of History and Didactics of Mathematics includes three members holding doctorates and one member completing his PhD. Presentely, members of this group conduct research on the Portuguese mathematicians José Anastácio da Cunha, Pedro Nunes and Álvaro Tomás, on the French mathematician S.F. Lacroix, and on epistemology and didactics of the calculus.
